The FRISC (Finance, Supply Chain and Risk) Department is one of the core support functions in DRC headquarters and consists of around 75 talented and engaged colleagues who are responsible for DRC’s financial affairs globally in close cooperation with the operational departments.

About the job

The role has two different focus areas: One where you go well beyond Finance and with the starting point in our global ERP solution (Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O) are responsible for ensuring a set-up that meets DRC’s needs now and in the future; the other main area is strictly related to Finance policies and processes where you will be responsible for our global framework of finance policies and processes. You will lead a group of financial specialists and ERP system experts. You will be a member of the management team in FRISC together with 3 other managers and our CFO.

Strategy setting and implementation of high standards global digital tools

DRC went live in January 2019 with our new cloud-based ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365). You will be responsible for setting the strategy for developing the global ERP system involving our Global Executive Management Team as well as a range of key stakeholders across DRC’s operations worldwide. You will ensure continuous benefits realization, while taking lead on global communication efforts and structuring capacity building across global business processes.

Leading the optimization and streamlining of financial policies and process

As Head of Finance Policies, Processes and Tools, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing a complete set of global finance policies covering both operational and corporate areas in line with our ERP system standards. You will also take charge in ensuring that an extensive set of finance processes are streamlined to best support effective and efficient project implementation. Liaising with key organizational stakeholders, you will further lead the overall implementation of new policies and processes, communicating and capacity building of relevant target groups.

About you

To be successful in this role we expect you to have:

Required:

  • University degree or equivalent within a relevant area
  • 3-5 years’ experiences with the development of financial policies as well as process optimisation
  • Minimum 3 years’ solid experiences working with programme management and ERP systems  
  • Minimum 3 years’ well documented experiences in leadership and/or change management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Danish, French, Spanish or Arabic
  • Good knowledge of and experience working in Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations) ERP solution
  • Experiences in the not-for-profit sector and knowledge of DRCs operating model
  • Experience in process optimisation, e.g. LEAN
