Manufacturing and Services Team consists of over 50 professionals covering all the Bank’s countries of operation to serve clients locally. The bankers are based in the Bank’s HQ and in the Regional Offices. Manufacturing and Services sector covers diversified activities including chemicals, metals, automotive industry and building materials. Manufacturing and Services Team financed over 600 projects with a total project value of over EUR 40 billion since establishment. Manufacturing and Services Team’s green investments are growing each year, with 50% of the Team’s ca €900m investments in 2021 classified as green.

Manufacturing and Services Team is looking to strengthen the Team with Interns who will contribute to all phases of the project cycle, including project origination, structuring, execution, and implementation and monitoring. The Intern will take responsibility for those tasks assigned to him/her by the operation leader, which may include participating in due diligence, including financial, market, integrity and EBRD policy compliance, as well as effective post-signing implementation and monitoring. The Intern carries out these tasks as part of a project team under the guidance of an operation leader or under the supervision/guidance of more senior bankers.

Responsilbilities:

Under the supervision of bankers in the team, the intern will support the transaction related process in:

  • Financial analysis of companies and projects including construction of financial projections and production of cash flow models.
  • Data gathering, research, analysis and provide background information into companies or sectors.
  • Administrative and analytical support in specific areas of project monitoring.
  • Support drafting of project proposals during the project cycle and liaison with the Bank’s relevant internal departments.
  • Attending meetings with bankers where appropriate.
  • Assist in the Team's TC Project where appropriate.

Key skills required:

  • Analytical and numerical skills
  • Financial skills - ability to design basic financial models
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Very good written (report writing, correspondence) and verbal communication skills in English
  • Computer literacy 

Education/Experience required:

  • University degree ( economics, finance, business)  
  • Some relevant commercial experience
  • Experience in other IFIs and donor experience is a plus
