Reporting to Head of Communications and Partnership, the Partnership and Communications Associate works with and provides support to the members of the Comms & partnership Unit in the development and implementation of effective partnership strategy and implementation consistent with UN Women rules and regulations. The Partnership and Communications Associate support in the development and management of UN Women’s strategic partnerships in Pakistan with Government including justice sector institutions, wider stakeholders including private sector, and donors. The Programme Associate works in close collaboration with the partnership focal points in the RO and UN Women HQ as required for technical advice on resource mobilization. Additionally, in support to UN Women Pakistan’s effort to expand the partnership strategy with non-traditional partners, such as private sector, the Programme Associate provides support to facilitate due diligence and development of the Country Office private sector and resource mobilization strategy.
The Partnership and Communications Associate will work in close collaboration with the Operations Unit, Programmme Team, to ensure smooth implementation of the activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
Support in the development and management of UN Women’s strategic partnerships especial focus on private sector in Pakistan
Build trust and maintain effective relationships with donors, government stakeholders and networks
Provide coordination support to the Communications Unit in the development and implementation of a coherent communications and advocacy strategy.
Provide coordination support to the development of CO advocacy materials
