The Rhodes Scholarship is a fully funded, full-time, postgraduate scholarship that enables talented young people from around the world to study at the University of Oxford, UK.

Eligibility:

• Nationality: You must be an Indian citizen.
• Education: Must have completed an undergraduate degree
• Age: 18 to 24 years
• Academic Achievement: Undergraduate with a first-class degree. 

 

Application and Selection Procedure:

Applications can be submitted online at the scholarship portal, which is free. The selection committee will evaluate the application form of each applicant and the selections will be based on interviews. Here are the steps:

• If you are longlisted you will be invited to attend a preliminary interview and a semi-final interview.
• Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a social and a final interview.
• All applicants will be emailed with the outcome of their application.

Documents:

• Personal statement of 1000 words focusing on why an applicant deserves the scholarship.
• Marksheets & Degrees
• Letters of Recommendation
• Valid Indian Passport
• Updated Resume
• A photograph
• IELTS or TOEFL score

Date and Deadline:

The applications for the 2022-23 program have been closed. And the applications for the 2023-24 program most likely would begin in June next year and last till the end of July.

Interviews are usually held between September and November every year.
