This Scholarship is offered by the university of Ottawa, department of human rights. This scholarship is for both Canadian and non-Canadian citizens. Only researchers with creative research projects that fall under the purview of the Human Rights Research and Education Center are eligible for the scholarship (HRREC).

Eligibility:

  • Nationality: You must be an Indian citizen.
  • Education: Hold a Doctoral degree not more than 5 years prior.
  • Accepts to work for the HRREC over the entire scholarship time.
  • Accepts to engage in original research that is different from the research he or she has previously conducted in order to support the growth and intellectual endeavors of the HRREC.

  • A brief cover letters
  • Updated CV
  • Doctoral thesis (five-page summary)
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Research proposal describing the postdoctoral project (five-page)
  • written comments of the thesis examination committee
