Details:

Accredited international study programs are organized at one or more Flemish universities and are known as ICP Connect study programs. The shows emphasize topics that are in line with the SDGs and Agenda 2030. For each of the 15 ICPs supported by VLIR-UOS, 10 new first-year scholarships are added each year. It offers scholarships for the duration of 12/24 months of the Master’s program.

Eligibility:

  • Nationality: Candidate must be from 29 eligible countries
  • Education: Candidates working in higher education, the government, or civil society, as well as those who want to work in one of these fields, will receive preference. If they have a strong drive and profile, candidates working in the private sector or just graduated candidates without any work experience may also be taken into consideration.
  • Age: For initial master candidate must not be higher than 35 and 45 for an advanced master
  • Scholarship applications: Candidates may apply for only one ICP Connect scholarship application per year.

If you are interested in any of the 15 ICP programs, go and apply on the university website. Apply for admission to the program as well as a scholarship.

  • Motivation: Candidates’ motivation and profession must reflect
  • Gender balance:  A balance between male and female candidates awarded scholarships
  • Professional Experience: More importance is given to those candidates who have gained knowledge/skills in the sustainable development context, higher education sector, government, civil society, or the private sector thereby contributing to positive societal change.
  • Leave No One Behind(LNOB): Preference is given to candidates from vulnerable groups
  • Previously awarded scholarship: Preferences will be given to those who has never received a scholarship to study in a higher-income country
