Within the Network Management Directorate and the Training Division, the Training Development & Delivery Unit plays a vital role in the aviation industry by developing and delivering comprehensive training programs to diverse stakeholders, including the ATM industry, competent authorities, airport authorities, and airline operators. This unit specialises in offering training across various domains, such as ATM Training, CNS, Network Operations, Safety Management, AI, UAS, Network Efficiency and EU Legislation (Single European Sky). These courses are designed to assist the diverse stakeholders in meeting the requirements outlined in European regulations, specifically the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/373, as well as the safety performance targets set in the Network Performance Plan established by the NM. Through their expertise and dedication, the Training Development & Delivery Unit ensures that stakeholders are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to operate within the ever-evolving aviation landscape.
Your role will be to:
Deliver air traffic management (ATM) training through the provision of classroom and virtual courses to a wide range of stakeholders including classroom and virtual courses in the area of:
CNS (Communication, Navigation and Surveillance)
Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS)
Design and develop training, including manuals, guidelines and learning tools (e-learning, etc.) as required.
Apply agreed training standards and assess existing training practises; propose modifications to increase the satisfaction of course participants and continuously improve the effectiveness of learning.
Provide guidance and coaching to students, look for cost-efficient solutions while improving learning, etc.
Collaborate with stakeholders and business to identify topics to address or areas in need of additional instruction/training.
Acquire expertise in new training areas, explore new domains and actively contribute to innovations.
Operate in an ISO certified environment and proactively explore ways and means to increase customer satisfaction.
Carry out any other tasks in line with the main purpose of the job.
Completed university studies of 4 years in a relevant area or completed university studies of 3 years plus 1-year relevant professional experience.

A minimum of 3 years’ relevant working experience.
Experience in providing training, using both traditional and modern job training methods and techniques, including the use of collaborative platforms.
Experience in satellite and terrestrial Navigation.
Knowledge of Communication and Surveillance.
Knowledge of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), more specifically of the regulatory framework and processes for the implementation of U-space and integration of UAS in ATM (e.g. risk assessment).
