Details:

Members of the World Bank Group are eligible for the Robert S. McNamara Ph.D. Research Fellowship. It offers master's degree programs in the following subjects offered at American universities: data science, economics, public policy, political science, statistics, international development studies, sociology, and mathematics. It gives selected individuals their G4 Visa application.

Eligibility:

  • Good command in English.
  • Applicants must be graduates of master’s level studies or currently pursuing a PhD in Economics or a related field.
  • Age: no more than 35 years old.
  • Available to relocate to Washington, D.C. for the duration of the fellowship.

Application and Selection Procedure:

Applications can be submitted online at the scholarship portal, which is free. The selection committee will award based on application materials, knowledge of relevant economic methods, and demonstrated skills in required statistical software.

Date and Deadline:

The applications for the 2022-23 program have been closed. And the applications for the 2023-24 program most likely would begin in March next year.
